Tango's Mobile Car Repairs was established by Mark Andrews in March 1992.

Mark, at the age of 16, started his apprenticeship at Garry and Warren Smith in Oakleigh. After finishing his apprenticeship he continued to work with them for a few more years. He then worked for Kenworth Trucks in Bayswater and then the Jaguar Service Center at Malvern Motors in Malvern. He then moved on to Super Automatics SuperTune in Malvern for six years.

Wanting more of a challenge he worked for Goodyear Springvale Tyre and Brakes for five years. He then moved on to  Vintage & Classic Restoration in Clayton. Not content with working in the same garage every day Mark then decided to try mobile on site repairs, first with Lube Mobile, then Team Auto, and lastly with Home Tune. While he was with Home Tune he realized that being a mobile mechanic was what he really wanted to do. After five years of hard work with them, in 1992 he made the decision to start his own mobile repair business and Tango's Mobile Car Repairs was born.

Mark has a keen interest in V8 Supercars, drag racing, hot rods and motorbikes.
